2020 has finally come to an end and good riddance! This hasn’t been a “walk through the park” kind of year for anyone but it finally has ended and now here we are in the new year 2021. Happy New Year everyone!!!!! Let’s take a look back at the tech that was in 2020.

a.) The Best Overall Smartphone Of 2020: Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra


Samsung does it yet again for the third consecutive time in a row, GSMArena can confirm those statistics too. First with the winner in 2018 the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, next was the Galaxy Note 10 Plus in 2019, and now in the year 2020 with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

When it comes to versatility no other phablet can compare to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it is as high-end as it can get in almost every aspect. With a gorgeous high resolution 6.9 inch 120Hz adaptive display, the best processor that Qualcomm can offer the Snapdragon 865 Plus, 12GB of RAM, a 4500mAh battery, its triple rear camera system is one of the most advanced you can get and not to forget the show stopper S-Pen.

This was a heavily contested category but the victory goes to the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. This is a well polished-out smartphone that retains some of the best specs and features from the S20 series line-up with minor compromises. Now one doesn’t need to splash out so much as a $1000 or more to have the Samsung/Android flagship experience. For the price of $700 you will be getting a fluid 6.5 inch 120Hz display, 5G connectivity, a Snapdragon 865 and a 4500mAh battery. It also has an impressive triple camera system. c.) The Best Budget Smartphone Of 2020: Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC

The Poco X3 NFC is the budget smartphone of my choice as it basically features much more for the price tag. There are others that do better but come with a tad increase in the price. Featuring a 6.67″ 120Hz IPS LCD display, runs on the newer powerful Snapdragon 732G processor and an impressive quad-camera on the rear- a 64MP primary, a 13MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth shooter. It is also splash-proof with an IP53 rating. You’ll also find some other fan-favorite features such as an IR blaster, 3.5mm jack, microSD slot, and FM radio amongst others.

d.) The Best Camera Smartphone of 2020: Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
