From the table you will notice that, strangely, the non pro model is slightly larger dimension-wise and weighs more than the Pro model (measuring 162.3 x 75.4 x 9.4 mm and weighing 196.5g) as compared to the Pro model (at 160.9 x 74.3 x 8.7 mm and weighing 182g). It doesn’t end there, the display size of the Realme 7 is bigger at 6.5-inches whilst the 7 Pro is 6.4-inches. Perhaps the reason for difference in sizes, especially dimension-wise, could be the fact that the Realme 7 packs a 5000mAh battery as compared to the 4500mAh battery in the pro model. Now the biggest highlight of the Realme 7 Pro is its Fast Charging capabilities. It features 65W SuperDart charging which according to Realme will charge the phone’s 4500mAh battery from 0%-100% in just 34 minutes.

You will not find this feature on this range of devices. In contrast to the 7 Pro, the Realme 7 still charges fast but not as fast, it features 30W Dart Charging which will fill the cell from flat to 100% in 65min. Furthermore, the reason for the beefier battery in the Realme 7 could be the 90Hz LCD display as opposed to the standard 60Hz super AMOLED display on the 7 Pro. Yes, trust me you read correctly and its not your eyes deceiving you nor a typing error. The Realme 7 Pro doesn’t feature a display with high refresh rate, you will have to make-do with the super AMOLED display with the standard 60Hz. On the other hand, you will find the high refresh rate on the Realme 7 but sacrifice the super AMOLED for LCD display. It gets even more interesting, the Realme 7 features a side mounted fingerprint reader while the 7 Pro features an under display optical scanner.

Coming to the processor, the Realme 7 is powered by the Mediatek Helio G95 which is a minor upgrade to the Helio G90T seen in the standard Realme 6 and has ARM Mali-G76 MC4 GPU, the Realme 7 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC, which is identical to the Realme 6 Pro, coupled with Adreno 618. These devices boot with Android 10 complimented by Realme UI. Both the Realme 7 and 7 Pro have either 6GB/8GB and storage options for the Realme 7 are 64GB/128GB whilst the 7 Pro comes in a single storage option which is 128GB. On the upside, both phones have provision for expandable storage via SD card. The two phones share similar rear camera specs too, featuring a quad camera setup with a 64MP main shooter (IMX682), 8MP ultra-wide snapper, a 2MP monochrome portrait lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Selfies are handled by a 32MP camera in a punch-hole cutout at the top-right corner on the Realme 7 Pro, while a 16MP shooter handles duties on the standard variant also at the top-right corner. The Realme 7 Pro comes with Dolby Atmos with stereo speakers.

The Realme 7 starts at Rs 14,999 ($204) for the 6GB+64GB variant, while the 8GB/128GB option will set you back Rs 16,999 (~$232). The Realme 7 Pro costs Rs 19,999 ($272) for the 6GB/128GB option, and the 8GB/128GB variant will be sold for Rs 21,999 ($300). The standard model will be available from September 10 at 12PM(noon), while the Pro variant will be available from September 14 at 12PM(noon) both through Flipkart and Realme.com.
