Gaming Smartphones- Gaming On The Go!

I am not a pro gamer and most certainly not the best gamer out there but i love playing games casually and honestly i seriously do love playing games. It doesn’t matter if its on a playstaton or Xbox console, laptop, or desktop computer, whenever i have a chance, i will play till i’m tired. Gaming in its own is very unique, for example, it can be therapeutic. According to sources from, it states that gaming has shown promise in reducing stress and anxiety, and may lead to improved brain function.

Therefore, there are numerous benefits of using gaming — in tandem with other treatment methods including medication — in patients with mental health disorders, from anxiety and depression to PTSD (Post Traumatic Stres Disorder). Studies also show that, according to, video games can be good for kids. Children who play video games for up to an hour a day are less hyperactive, more social and happier than those who don’t play at all, according to an Oxford University study.

Most of the bad effects of video games are blamed on the violence they contain. Children who play more violent video games are more likely to have increased aggressive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and decreased prosocial helping, according to a scientific study (Anderson & Bushman, 2001). We all know this saying that “Too much of anything is bad for you”. Video games are potentially addictive, thus parents need to manage what type of games their children play, following the age guidelines, and how long they play them.

Now without further adue lets get into the gaming-smartphones business, to begin with we will be taking a look at the mid-price range gaming phones in this post and we will discuss the high-price range gaming phones in the next two posts. This list reflects the best that the current smartphone market has to offer (Excluding 2020 releases), taking into account constraints such as price and feature set, please note that they are in no particular order of any sort.

Almost a year old now since it was first released in June, 2019. Oneplus is best known for its lightning speed, still the snappiest phone on the market thanks to the company’s  Oxygen OS in the OnePlus 7 which makes efficient use of the resources and makes sure that there’s no lag or jitter while you are hunting down enemies in PUBG for long durations.

Yes it does, for all of us that dislike the notch, unfortunately come with that little tear drop notch at the top of the screen and doesn’t have provision for an SD card (something that Oneplus is also known for) but do not let that blind you from what this device is capable of. With storage options of 128GB and 256GB, you wont be short on storage anytime soon, equipped with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, the Snapdragon 855 (7 nm), Adreno 640 and toss in the stereo speakers to allow for an immersed gaming experience this phone is built game-ready.

This is a brilliant phone with an experience unrivalled anywhere near this price.

First of all we are going to clarify the difference(s) between these two devices i.e. the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro and the Redmi K20 Pro. They are actually one and the same/similar device in terms of hardware specs, except in two areas.

The first difference is in the back design of the devices. With reference from the above image, If you take a closer look at the back panel design of the two smartphones, you will find that the words “Redmi, designed by Xiaomi” is changed to an Mi logo. Besides that, everything else in design is exactly the same.

The second difference is that both the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro and Redmi K20 Pro support different network bands. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro supports more network bands as compared to the Redmi K20 Pro, so users outside of China had better buy the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro to ensure that it can work in your country. In fact, everyone should also check the network band frequency in their country before buying any smartphones on the global market just to ensure it will work in their country.

That aside, this smartphone is well under-priced for the powerhouse features it carries under the hood. Known as the “Flagship Killer“, packed with the Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) along with Adreno 640, memory options come in two i.e. 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage but unfortunately doesn’t have provision of an SD card.

The company has added eight layers of graphene, which helps in bringing down the temperature in extended gaming sessions, therefore expect a smooth gaming experience on this device. The best part… NO NOTCH!!! Lol! Thats a complete full screen experience with your gaming.
