    Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus

Samsung has unveiled its 2021 Galaxy flagship range some weeks earlier than it has in the previous years. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus was announced on January 14 alongside the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra during the company’s virtual Unpacked event. Last year we all noticed that the Galaxy S20 Plus was the sweet spot of the S20 series line up having some of the best features from both the S20 Ultra and the base S20 model. However, that is no longer the same issue with the Galaxy S21 line up, the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus are very similar in almost every aspect except when it comes to size and battery size. Now, the Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus aren’t as top-end with Samsung pushing power users and serious Galaxy enthusiasts towards the Galaxy S21 Ultra which has the best a Samsung flagship has to offer.                      SAMSUNG GALAXY S21 PLUS Dimensions 161.5 x 75.6 x 7.8 mm (6.36 x 2.98 x 0.31 in) Weight 200 g (Sub6), 202 g (mmWave) (7.05 oz) Build Glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus), Glass back, aluminum frame IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 mins) Display Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz, HDR10+, 1300 nits (peak) Screen Size 6.7 inches, 107.8 cm2 (~88.3% screen-to-body ratio) Resolution 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~394 ppi density) Glass Type Corning Gorilla Glass Victus OS Android 11, One UI 3.1 Chipset Exynos 2100 (5 nm) – International Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 (5 nm) – USA/China/Korea CPU Octa-core (1×2.9 GHz Cortex-X1 & 3×2.80 GHz Cortex-A78 & 4×2.2 GHz Cortex-A55) – International Octa-core (1×2.84 GHz Kryo 680 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 680 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 680 – USA/China/Korea GPU Mali-G78 MP14 – International Adreno 660 –...

    The Xiaomi Mi 11

The Xiaomi Mi 11 was announced on the 28th of December 2020 and was released few days later i.e. on January 01, 2021. Talk about running on all cylinders, Xiaomi is calling all kinds of shots with their new and super powered Mi 11. Processor and Display: Last year Samsung’ Note 20 Ultra was the first smartphone to debut with Corning’ Gorilla Glass Victus, this year Xiaomi’s Mi 11 is the first smartphone to have Qualcomm’ 5nm chip the SM8350 Snapdragon 888. This is coupled up with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Xiaomi also included a vapor cooling system on board. A more detailed spec sheet is at the end of the article. Coming to the display, the front glass is Gorilla Glass Victus plus the Mi 11 rocks a 6.82 inch 120 Hz OLED display with QHD+ resolution of 3200×1440. It has an insane 480Hz touch sensing which makes it easily the fastest touch response smartphone on the market. It has a peak brightness of 1500 nits. According to Android Authority. Xiaomi claims that the Mi 11 screen has already broken 13 records via testing firm DisplayMate, including peak brightness for OLED panels, screen reflectivity, contrast, and color accuracy. Threat! The Flagship Killers Of 2020

2020 was packed with so much tech going head-to-head and the best smartphones seemed to be way beyond what most consumers could afford. Not everyone can afford the premium flagship experience by buying the flagship smartphones themselves but there are ways around it and these ways are the following smartphones choices. 1. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is the complete package from which one gets more for less. With this device, Samsung took most of the fan- favorite or desired specs from their premium S20 series while leaving out several premium aspects of the main S20 series thus resulting in the much more affordable lowered price. It is not the best Flagship Killer by accident, this is more than worthy of the title. Size-wise, it has a 6.5 inch Super AMOLED 120Hz display with FullHD resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The device also has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The difference in built material between the S20 series and the S20 FE is the material used for the rear panel. Where the S20 and S20+ used glass, the S20 FE’s rear panel is plastic. The Galaxy S20 FE comes with an impressive triple camera system. It has two variants, a SD865 and the Exynos 990 variant of which both have a base memory of 6GB, next is the 8GB option and then tops out at 12GB RAM. The storage options start from 128GB and tops out at 256GB of UFS 3.1, there’s also the option of expandable storage via microSDXC. Don’t worry about the battery capacity for it is powered by the same battery that is found in the Note 20 Ultra and S20 Plus i.e. the 4500mAh battery, not to forget the wireless and reverse wireless charging abilities, and an...

    Best Gaming Smartphones Of 2020

THE BEST OF 2020 GAMING SMARTPHONES Here is my list of the best gaming smartphones of 2020, the list could go on but this short list should do it. Let’s go! 1. ASUS ROG Phone 3 Ever since it’s debut the ASUS ROG Phone has dominated the Mobile Gaming niche category and this time with the ASUS ROG Phone 3, I just wonder what they have installed for us this year in 2021. There are other smartphones with about the same internals as the ROG Phone 3 but what really sets it apart from the rest of the competition is it’s vast accessory options that are meant to cover every possible use case, and the extremely particular needs and whims of the modern mobile gamer. I like the expression that GSMArena uses to describe the ASUS ROG Phone 3: “The ROG Phone 3 is probably the closest thing the smartphone industry currently has to a super car – and we don’t mean that in the gaming sense. Just like a real super car, it comes with high upfront and associated costs and requires a certain level of involvement and technological proficiency and implies a multitude of limitations when used as a regular, every-day driver.” Yes one would buy this for the purpose of ordinary phone use but that would be like caging a Lamborghini. You wouldn’t be able to enjoy the ROG Phone 3 in it’s full glory. It is specifically targeted to the hardcore mobile gamer who will uncage and bring out what it was created for. Featuring a fast and fluid 144Hz OLED display, a 600omAh mammoth battery, the speed-binned and overclocked SD 865 Plus chip, Fast UFS 3.1 storage of up to 512GB and insane 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The ASUS ROG Phone 3 is the benchmark...

The Best Flagship Smartphones Of 2020

The Best Phones That Money Can Buy 1. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is Samsung’s best smartphone to-date. This is the absolute flagship that is made of sugar, spice and everything nice and I don’t mean the Power Puff Girls here. Starting with the design, built of glass i.e. both front and back, and sandwiched by a stainless steel frame. GG Victus first debuted on the Note 20 Ultra which makes for better scratch and shatter resistant than the GG6. My favorite design feature of the Note 20 Ultra is the elegantly looking camera bump, simplistic yet sophisticated. I have to say the device looks amazing especially in it’s Mystic Bronze color. It is not just the design that makes this beast the best smartphone of 2020 but it’s internals are just as aggressive. Featuring a powerful Snapdragon 865 Plus coupled with either 12GB or 16GB or memory and 5G capable. The device has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance as well as a 120Hz adaptive Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1440x3088px, which comes in an odd 19.3:9 aspect ratio. It is worth mentioning that the Note 20 Ultra’s Camera prowess is amongst the best in the business. Read More On Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra… 2. iPhone 12 Pro Max (Successor to the iPhone 11 Pro Max) The iPhone 12 Pro Max is no smartphone to scoff at and it remains superior as having the most powerful processor on the market. As the successor to the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is the biggest, most powerful, and most feature-rich iPhone Apple has ever made thus far. Apple’s best iPhone yet has the most premium and durable design Apple has ever made, the most powerful chip...

Let’s take a look back at the tech that was in 2020. a.) The Best Overall Smartphone Of 2020: Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Samsung does it yet again for the third consecutive time in a row, GSMArena can confirm those statistics too. First with the winner in 2018 the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, next was the Galaxy Note 10 Plus in 2019, and now in the year 2020 with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. When it comes to versatility no other phablet can compare to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it is as high-end as it can get in almost every aspect. iPhone 12 Pro Max

Finally, here we are with the last piece of the iPhone 12 series-puzzle, the biggest, baddest and bestest of what Apple has to offer- the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It is the absolute upgrade to the rest of the 12 series and the iPhone 11 series. What’s New? Packing a new and improved triple-camera array on the back, huge size, most powerful processor with 5G support, MagSafe, Massive battery, LiDAR scanner, and largest speaker set. The miniaturization of the LiDAR (Light Radar, Light Detection and Ranging, and now also known as Laser Imaging, Detection and Ranging) technology is one of Apple’s more prominent achievements. The LiDAR scanner measures distances by firing laser beams and measuring their reflections with a dedicated sensor. This way, the phone can make a super accurate 3D representation of an object and later place it virtually anywhere, on top of that you can use it to measure distance too.                       Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max Dimensions 160.8 x 78.1 x 7.4 mm (6.33 x 3.07 x 0.29 in) Weight 228 g (8.04 oz) Build Glass front (Gorilla Glass), glass back (Gorilla Glass), aluminum frame IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 6m for 30 mins) Display Super Retina XDR OLED, HDR10 Screen Size 6.7 inches, 109.8 cm2 (~87.4% screen-to-body ratio) Resolution 1284 x 2778 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~458 ppi density) Glass Type Scratch-resistant ceramic glass, oleophobic coating OS iOS 14.1, upgradable to iOS 14.2 Chipset Apple A14 Bionic (5 nm) CPU Hexa-core (2×3.1 GHz Firestorm + 4×1.8 GHz Icestorm) GPU Apple GPU (4-core graphics) Card Slot No Internal Storage 128GB/256GB/512GB NVMe Memory/RAM 6GB Main Camera 12 MP, f/1.6, 26mm (wide), 1.7µm, dual pixel PDAF, sensor-shift stabilization (IBIS) 12 MP, f/2.2, 65mm (telephoto), 1/3.4″, 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS, 2.5x optical...

    iPhone 12 Pro

Apple is calling all kind of shots and letting the consumers dish it out by having a whole list of options to choose from. We already reviewed the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12, here we have the next in the iPhone 12 series line the iPhone 12 Pro. There are’nt as many upgrades from the iPhone 12 but if you were to compared it to the iPhone 11 then you will definitely have a list of upgrades. The iPhone 12 and 12 Pro are the same in most aspects, the only difference/upgrade there is when it comes to the cameras. Compared to the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro has a proper telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, a LiDAR Scanner for AR applications and low-light focusing, and it can take portrait shots with Night mode. The major differences end just about here.                                                 Apple iPhone 12 Pro Dimensions 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.4 mm (5.78 x 2.81 x 0.29 in) Weight 164 g (5.78 oz) Build Glass front (Gorilla Glass), glass back (Gorilla Glass), aluminum frame IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 6m for 30 mins) Display Super Retina XDR OLED, HDR10 Screen Size 6.1 inches, 90.2 cm2 (~86.0% screen-to-body ratio) Resolution 1170 x 2532 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~460 ppi density) Glass Type Scratch-resistant ceramic glass, oleophobic coating OS iOS 14.1, upgradable to iOS 14.2 Chipset Apple A14 Bionic (5 nm) CPU Hexa-core (2×3.1 GHz Firestorm + 4×1.8 GHz Icestorm) GPU Apple GPU (4-core graphics) Card Slot No Internal Storage 128GB/256GB/512GB NVMe Memory/RAM 6GB Main Camera 12 MP, f/1.6, 26mm (wide), 1.4µm, dual pixel PDAF, OIS 12 MP, f/2.0, 52mm (telephoto), 1/3.4″, 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS, 2x...
