    iPhone 12 Pro Max-Specs & Review

Finally, here we are with the last piece of the iPhone 12 series-puzzle, the biggest, baddest and bestest of what Apple has to offer- the iPhone 12 Pro Max. What’s New? Packing a new and improved triple-camera array on the back, huge size, most powerful processor with 5G support, MagSafe, Massive battery, LiDAR scanner, and largest speaker set. The miniaturization of the LiDAR (Light Radar, Light Detection and Ranging, and now also known as Laser Imaging, Detection and Ranging) technology is one of Apple’s more prominent achievements. The LiDAR scanner measures distances by firing laser beams and measuring their reflections with a dedicated sensor. This way, the phone can make a super accurate 3D representation of an object and later place it virtually anywhere, on top of that you can use it to measure distance too.                       Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max Dimensions 160.8 x 78.1 x 7.4 mm (6.33 x 3.07 x 0.29 in) Weight 228 g (8.04 oz) Build Glass front (Gorilla Glass), glass back (Gorilla Glass), aluminum frame IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 6m for 30 mins) Display Super Retina XDR OLED, HDR10 Screen Size 6.7 inches, 109.8 cm2 (~87.4% screen-to-body ratio) Resolution 1284 x 2778 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~458 ppi density) Glass Type Scratch-resistant ceramic glass, oleophobic coating OS iOS 14.1, upgradable to iOS 14.2 Chipset Apple A14 Bionic (5 nm) CPU Hexa-core (2×3.1 GHz Firestorm + 4×1.8 GHz Icestorm) GPU Apple GPU (4-core graphics) Card Slot No Internal Storage 128GB/256GB/512GB NVMe Memory/RAM 6GB Main Camera 12 MP, f/1.6, 26mm (wide), 1.7µm, dual pixel PDAF, sensor-shift stabilization (IBIS) 12 MP, f/2.2, 65mm (telephoto), 1/3.4″, 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS, 2.5x optical zoom 12 MP, f/2.4, 120˚, 13mm (ultrawide), 1/3.6″ TOF 3D LiDAR scanner (depth) Video 4K@24/30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120/240fps, HDR,...

    Huawei Mate 40 Series

Huawei recently announced the Huawei Mate 40 series which will be composed of the base Mate 40, Mate 40 pro, Mate 40 Pro + and the Mate 40 RS Porsche Design edition. Now, Some of you may not know the difference between Huawei’s Mate and P series. According to Huawei, the Mate series focuses on pixels and processors and tends to be ahead of the phones on having the latest processor. The P series however, targets those who are more concerned about the design sense, new colors and photo-taking capabilities. Over the years, Huawei has adopted the tendency of releasing it’s Mate series in the second semester of the year and this year is by no means any different featuring three Mate 40 devices and a Porsche Design Edition on top of the list. These four devices as would expect share in some of the features and specs across the board. Of these four devices, one holds the sweet spot in terms of specs and features and that is the Mate 40 Pro. On top of that, Huawei regards the Mate 40 Pro to be the signature smartphone in the series. Here is a list of these shared features: – OLED 90Hz display with HDR10 – Android 10 based on EMUI with no Google Play Services – Main camera is a 50 MP, f/1.9, 23mm (wide), 1/1.28″, 1.22µm, omnidirectional PDAF, Laser AF – Expandable storage via NM (Nano Memory) up to 256GB – 13 MP selfie camera with f/2.4, 18mm (ultrawide) – Under display fingerprint reader Those are about the only shared features that these devices share. The Google Pixel 5

Released: October 15, 2020 We have for you today Google’s flagship smartphone, the Google Pixel 5. Now you are going to have to agree with me here, Google’s idea of a flagship isn’t what you think it is. We all know that for a smartphone to be considered a flagship it means the device’s specs have to be the best there is. Google, however, has a unique description and approach to this concept but it still remains the best phone they’ve released. Google, this time around, has decided to focus on the user experience and one other major area that Google is known to be great for, is the simplified camera experience. There are some features that have been shed off from its predecessor, the Google Pixel 4. These include no telephoto shooter, no face unlock, and unique features such as Soli(used to track motion on a microscopic scale). Regardless of all this, it still has amazing features such as a 90Hz OLED display, larger 4080mAh battery as compared to the Pixel 4’s 2800mAh battery, and an IP68 rating. Dimensions 144.7 x 70.4 x 8 mm (5.70 x 2.77 x 0.31 in) Weight 151 g (5.33 oz) Build Glass front (Gorilla Glass 6), aluminum back, aluminum frame With IP68 dust/water resistance Display OLED, 90Hz, HDR10+ Screen Size 6.0 inches, 87.6 cm2 (~85.9% screen-to-body ratio) Resolution 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~432 ppi density) Glass Type Corning Gorilla Glass 6 OS Android 11 Chipset Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G (7nm) CPU Octa-core (1×2.4 GHz Kryo 475 Prime & 1×2.2 GHz Kryo 475 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 475 Silver) GPU Adreno 620 Card Slot No Internal Storage 128GB Memory/RAM 8GB Main Camera 12.2 MP, f/1.7, 27mm (wide), 1/2.55″, 1.4µm, dual pixel PDAF, OIS 16 MP, f/2.2, 107˚ (ultrawide), 1.0µm Video 4K@30/60fps,...
